Coffman said pretty good. This book is pretty good, with lots of information. The CD is a little discouraging, though, to a beginner. He plays the songs REALLY slow, and then kinda slow at a good "I've-played-the-guitar-for-years-but-never-the-banjo" beginner pace, but then the third time he calls "medium jam speed" and the implication of that is he would like to take it faster, but he's holding back for your benefit.
