"There is no better guide to understanding color" according to Robert. I first checked this book out of my local library and loved it so much I kept it for almost a year. I returned it the day after my Amazon copy arrived and the fine was worth every penny. I had struggled with my ability to produce watercolors that I liked. This book changed everything. Through a mixture (no pun intended) of theory and exercises, it helped me understand how to achieve perfect results. It is a constant reference. I have simply found no better book on understanding color.. Great value! Flash1 Excellent book on understanding color and mixing pigment. Plenty of hands on exercises to put your learning into practice. Definitely a must-have book for everyone interested in painting and unable to attend traditional classroom training!. Brenda said Great book!. Excellent book on color theory. I'm a makeup artist and used to paint as well. I thought this contained great information for anyone who works with color on a regular basis.
