Bethany does a great job explaining everything, and recalling details from her family and friends that she wasn't there for. I've read this book like 5 times already and have watched the movie somewhere around three times, and yet I never get bored of it! The story was told by Bethany, in Bethany's point of few, in other words (first person). There wasn't anything . "Such an inspiration!!" according to Patti R. Thompson. I had watched the movie with my daughter and decided that I really wanted to hear Bethany's story as she herself would tell it, not as Hollywood told it. I was very pleased that, after reading the first half of the book, Bethany wrote another part telling how she and her family played a large part in making the movie. So, now that I'm finished reading her story, I'm going to watch the movie again!. Fast shipping and a happy daughter! The package arrived on day two, love that!My daughter, 8, had been watching the surfing movies with Bethany Hamilton the last couple of days becoming more and more a keen fan of hers. When the book arrived she was smiling from ear to ear and carried the book with her everywhere. What a way to add to the storyline of the films then a longer format book?As a father I want to get as much of these seemingly good influence
