About 3 years ago, I thought I would give it a try again, this time with the internet as a source for knowledgeable purchases, I bought 4 books, one of which is Rick Newcombe's book. This author has the unique ability to take the science, yes, the science, and art of pipe making to a level not achieved by others. I hardly read the other books, just not an interesting writing style and no where the information in.
