I love the style of writing and I have read just about all of McMurray's books up to the first of the Berryhill stories which I did not care for but took a chance on Telegraph Days which I found to be a nice surprise. I love the style of writing and the development of the characters they are not exactly Gus and captain Call but good enough I am encouraged enough to try a couple more of McMurray's more recent books.. clearly a Larry mcmurty novel Amazon Customer Clearly a Larry mcmurty novel. Some laugh out loud moments. Touching moments. Interesting quirky characters. Not his very best. but s good book and a pleasure to read
