Love Danielle? Love this! I love Danielle and look forward to all her new offerings but just be aware that as fun as they are to read they are all typical Danielle and pretty predictable. In this one I learned quite a bit about the secret service and the witness protection program that I didn't know.. Mary Lacey said Excellent Read, great page turner. The story is about several people, the first Marshal Everet, who starts out as a narcotic agent in a foreign country, but due to circumstances beyond his control, he is forced back to the United States. He leaves behind a very pregnant lover, who is killed soon after he leaves. His is depressed, but is soon picked up on the President's Security Team. He suffers an injury that will change his life forever by protecting the President's daughte. Angela O'Kelly said terrific. I thought this was a very good read. It was different to the usual Danielle Steel books. It held my attention from the moment I began till I put it down. It a nice change and very well written. The moment I read the sample I knew I had to get it. The last few books of Miss Steels that I read we're to me great holiday reads. This one however was one not to be put down. I hope she will write some more suspense books like this one. I loved the
