It could be a lot shorter, like one fourth of it's current length, while still getting the message across. I stopped reading this book 60% of the way through because of the monotonous repetition of the same messages and examples. I work in the 3D printing industry (L-PBF user), and while I agree with most of John's positions about the future of this consumer/manufacturing sector, the message could be spelled out more succinctly in fewer pages.
