"A beautiful life" according to Janine. This books follows the life of Josephine Baker from abject poverty to very rich. She lived a very interesting life. Well worth your time. I went to France late December 1955 by ship and arrived by train in Paris just before Christmas.there was a black slim black women greeting relatives or friends in the train station.
