I actually liked it more than I expected. T_Lauber Initially the reviews I read caused me to not to be very interested in "Against all Enemies." But after reading all the currently available Jack Ryan/Jack Jr./John Clark/Campus books I was hungry enough for some more Clancy world to read it. I actually liked it more than I expected. The brief tie in with Dominic Caruso at the very end was intriguing. After all isn't the Campus in need of some additional personnel at this point? Liked t. The characters were developed slowly but with insight of the reality a person might have experienced in similar situations. The back ground behind the plot is possible in todays world. It could be rather frightening if it came to past or maybe it has. Clancy's plots border on reality so well that it makes one wonder if he had a crystal . As a Clancysucked. As just another bookso-so. As many of the other reviews point out, it is very clear in just the early pages that this is just another book that Tom Clancy has lent his name to. The quality of writing and meticulous attention to the details are woefully absent, and what is left is just an average mass market thriller.That said, once I got over the fact that it definitely wasn't a Tom Clancy novel and adjusted my expectations, I did find myself at least mildly ent
