Another winner! Kelly ODonnell Another winner! Fast paced, action, and humor, this book has it all. Love seeing the different series starting to meld together. Can't wait to see what's next for Valerie. Sobecause it has to be asked.LOL Book 6?. Avast there Mateys, here be Volume FIVE! Readalot Before I get to the review-- this novel should rated R. Which is OK by me but parents may want to be aware. There's lots of R swearing and a fair bit of PG 13 sex.Meanwhile, Um, where's volume SIX? :D Anyway, This volume had some powerful scenes-- the one where Valerie helps the guy get to his wife really is quite memorable. You do have to read all the previous volumes to know what's going on. It stops at a good spot.. Vampires, werewolves, and pirates! Holly A. Lenz Born into Flames is a terrific installment in the series which features Valerie, the vampire and her vampire, werewolf, and human allies and enemies. This book has pirates thrown into the mix for more action and extra fun.Be forewarned, while there are no explicit sex scenes in the series thus far, the characters are getting plenty of action in this book, and when they aren't fighting, they often seem to have just one thing in the mind. This book isn't aimed at a YA audience, even though teens would probably get a kick out of it.I think this book would work ok as a stand alone, but probably
