Diverse and talented jewelers I just got this book and I can't put it down. The photos are great and so are the interviews. I especially enjoy the interviews and the insight into how these jewelers got into the business. Maia does a great job of not only providing interviews for some of the jewelers but also provides background on who these artists are.I will say that it seems the book is heavily dominated by UK artists versus a more international group.If you love fashion and jewelery or either one separately this book is a great addi. "The cover should have given me a clue" according to Mary S. Morgan. I have been making jewelry for over 20 years using beads, metal and mixed media. I am constantly looking for inspirations and thought this book might be helpful. All it inspired me to do was go for a long walk and take a nap. I've tried to be open minded about this book, but even the earrings the model is wearing on the cover are hideous, but this is just my opinion. Feel free to waste your own money on this book when there are so many better books available.. Maia Adams' New Book Maia Adams' first book is beautifully written, researched, and presented. It makes for a wonderful / must have addition to a fashion / art / photography / contemporary culture library.
