krysha said great interest read. I read almost all of Patterson books. I decided to give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading it. The story kept you going. Wondering who was next, who exactly was the killer. At first I thought it was the professor. I started to read this one the night before, finished it next day.. "BRILLIANT" according to PWA. Brilliant! Alot of twists and turns to hold your interest. Writing style was different from the past Patterson books. But a great story. Loved the way the Detective and the Professor worked together to catch a serial killer who leaves a playing card as a clue to his next victim. Throw in a mayor who's trying to get r. "Keeps you on your toes" according to Debbie. Definitely one of the better always moving mysteries. Very rarely was their full in information that didn't pertain to the main story line. Hard to put down since one moment of action went right to the next. Would recommend reading.
