"Love!" according to L. Toates. Oh, I love Mark Hayes! This book is everything I hoped for when looking for a selection of songs I will feel comfortable playing for specials at church. It has some rather technical pieces yet beautifully arranged so they are easy enough for me to polish up quickly. Love the melodic chords and transitional key changes.. Beautiful arrangements by an artist who I had a chance to hear in concert several years ago. Amazing! When it says "Advanced Piano," it indeed is advanced--too advanced for me at this time. However, as I skim through the book, I notice that there are some selections that might be somewhat challenging for the intermediate player, but not completely out of reach for one who reads music well and can get the music under their fingers in a reasonable tim. Five Stars You cannot go wrong with Mark Hayes. This book is an early advanced level.
