Helpful and fast read! I had to give a presentation about accounting to a group of educators. I wanted to make it come alive and I had just gotten this book in the mail from Amazon. I sat down a read it in about 90 minutes and applied its recommendations. It worked! I rewrote the presentation and turned it into a story with a scary shark, and how the educators could learn to identify and "kill" the shark. The most important thing I got from the book is if you are going to go over data, have a real story for it - if you don't, then don't present the data. Good read. Quick and easy to read!. "Finally!!" according to K. Iloenyosi. Finally, a simple, clear and concise manual on how to transform a boring presentation into an exciting and engaging experience for your listeners. This book exemplifies what Joey teaches in the book; he speaks in simple language and makes the process easy for any reader to grasp and apply. Quick and easy; timeless and concrete principles.. Riveting Data: Ninety Minutes Well Spent Amazon Customer "Riveting Data" is a terrific guide that has something for everyone, from the beginner to the seasoned corporate leader. As is typical of the author's other books, the lessons here are easily accessible, understandable, and applicable for a range of presentations, but are grounded in our understanding of human psychology and the author's decades of experience. As I finished the last chapter, I found myself wishing the text of this book could be pasted into PowerPoint's Help Menu.
