The word gospel originally meant "good news" and it is out of this place that we have "good instruction". Instead of trying to build a tower to get into heaven, we live out of the glorious truth that we have already been raised up to the highest seat possible, that is, the right hand seat of the Lord (see Col 3:3). These are the facts. When we look at the scriptures, we see that the gospel is an announcement, that we have been co crucified, co buried, and co raised with Christ (see Gal 2:20, Rom 6:1-21). Now we are called to live out of our truest identity.. We have been raised up and made to sit with Him in heavenly places, high above powers and principalities (Eph 2:6)
