Preston takes a detailed look at the topic, taking a broad view, from how life developed on Earth, what life may or may not require, the possibilities for life in our solar system or beyond, and the possibility of huma. "Not enough on tardigrades!" according to Melanie D. Typaldos. Not terrible but not particularly good. If this is a subject that has interested you for awhile, you are probably familiar with 90% of it. If you're new to this concept, your learn some stuff but you will also be bored by its repetitiveness. I was greatly disappointed in the section dealing with "water b. Peter Hillier said You finish the book much wiser than when you started - recommended.. Mrs Preston has a lot to say and is very insightful in her discussions.
