DESCRIPTION:

For nearly nine years, Theresa Cross Knorr got away with murder, until her youngest daughter, Terry Knorr Graves, finally found a cop who believed the incredible story of her two murdered sisters. In June of I985, while her teenage sons held their half sister down, Theresa Cross beat her I9-year-old daughter Sheila unconscious and then stuffed her into a 2' x 2' storage locker. That story is all here, the shocking life of a woman whose violence, jealousy, rage, and domination led to a brutally heinous crime of ruthless ferocity.. Theresa and her sons dumped the girl's body in the desolate High Sierras. After three days the knocking, kicking, and cries stopped. The summer before, Theresa had dug a bullet out of her daughter Suesan's chest with a paring knife. When Suesan failed to recover (without benefit of doctors or hospital), Theresa and her two sons drove the delirious girl to the mountains, doused her with gasoline, and set her on fire

"Got pretty boring in parts" according to FreshSharkEggs. This woman was sick. The only problem was like most true crime, I really don't need to be bored to tears by the complete history of all the towns where the people live, and every person's family tree and their parents and grandparents life stories. I don't know why most true crime authors think I would want to know all that."This person was born in 1956 to these 2 people, the mother was born in this town, here's that towns entire history and her parent's life story. Her grandparents were these people and came here from Italy, here's the history of Italy and her grandparents life story. Now, lets do the same for her. Horrible story, nicely written. Renika Jacobs I have always felt that there are certain people who should be put to sleep like dogs. This woman is definitely one of those people. I wonder if the lawyer who represented her even believed the excuses he was making for this dog of a woman. And even though she inflicted the torture on these children she is by far not the only one who failed them miserably. These fathers that do "every thing they can" but in my opinion not enough to see their own children should be tried right along with the mother's who perpetrate these type of crimes. That judge that carelessly let her get away with her first murder should have be. Intense story of a mother who kills 2 of her daughters Bonnie Kernene Wow, what a story. OK, I will say it, Theresa Knorr Cross is a horrible, horrible person. She treated everyone who loved her like her own personal slaves, that everyone should always be at her beck and call and do her bidding. She screams at you if you did anything wrong. She had to always make herself look good. She even did this to her own children, or rather, especially to her own children. And husbands. This book is about the murders of 2 of her daughters, caused by her in so many ways. These girls deserved so much more. The book itself is well-written and well-researched, not an easy feat either with all of th
