I felt like I'd fallen down a rabbit hole as I read of Elizabeth's journey through the loss of her sister and her road to recovery in a psychiatric hospital There was absolutely nothing predictable about the plot. From start to finish, I never could guess what was going to happen next."--That Book Lady Blog. Just go read this, go into it blindly! It's a truly satisfying experience you just have to read for yourself."--After the Pages"This book was absolutely stunning in its depth. "Truly shocked me
Graphic and intense, this book will dig deep into the dark corners of your mind and make you squirm. Kimberlie L. I've been all about psychological thrillers lately and this one was amazing. It kept me riveted from the first page to the last.Dealing with a childhood of horrific abuse and neglect and the death of her twin, Elizabeth loses it completely and ends up in a psychiatric ward. Full of delicious twists and shocking revelations, I can't wait to read more from this author.. Great psychological thriller! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well written, intense psychological thriller. I read this book in one sitting and it was very refreshing to read a book that went beyond just trying to figure out the "twist". This author gave great insight into mental illness and how childhood trauma can affect a person years after the fact. I grew to care about these characters and what happened to them as the story unfolded. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.. Very much enjoyed this book Very much enjoyed this book! This is my absolute favorite genre and this one did not disappoint! Love books with twists and, to be honest, I usually figure them out fairly quickly (just from having so much exposure to so many mystery/ thrillers over the years, I guess you become sort of an expert lol) and while I did figure out the twist before it was revealed, it was only shortly before. That is a win in my book! Great read, very much recommend!
