DESCRIPTION:
From the Back Cover Long considered the only book an audio engineer needs on their shelf, Sound System Engineering provides an accurate, complete and concise tool for all those involved in sound system engineering. Fully updated on the design, implementation and testing of sound reinforcement systems this great reference is a necessary addition to any audio engineering library. Written by two leading authorities in the field of audio engineering, this highly respected guide covers the basic principals necessary for the understanding of today's systems as well as for those systems yet to come.. Packed with revised material, numerous illustrations and useful appendices, this is a concentrated capsule of knowledge and industry standard that runs the complete range of sound system design from the simplest all-analog paging systems to the largest multipurpose digital systems
Don and Carolyn are both Fellows of the Audio Engineering Society. Don Davis and his wife, Carolyn, founded Synergetic Audio Concepts in 1972. His background as a musician, sound contractor, and electronics technician and consultant has forged his practical approach to solving audio and acoustic problems.. Throughout his tenure he partici
"Great Reference In Hardbound Version" according to TPG. This is a great reference book with practical information along with formulas & technical information. I made the mistake of buying the Kindle edition first, but it just reinforced that Kindle editions of technical books that have charts, formulas, and cross references that you need to refer back and forth to are not a good idea. I then bought the hardbound edition and I love it. If you're serious about using this book to learn from and keep a. "Outstanding. Still the best audio book ever." according to Amazon Customer. Excellent! Period!. "Four Stars" according to VanArn. A very comprehensive book.
