PROVING GROUND is a stunner; PB hasn’t lost a step. I read a great deal of crime and suspense fiction and this is among the best of those currently on offer.The story concerns a young man named Nathaniel Dresden, aka Natty Dread. Natty is the son of a just-deceased activist/lawyer named David Dresden. The worst chapter - just misplaced or surprising - shows Lourdes with Mitchell (could not remember Mitchell's part in this) after three months of being too busy.
