Others may like this, but for me there was too much situation-building narrative surrounding the useful Japanese. "About my job" might be enough, it does not need a load of suggestions on where I might be sitting when I might want to discuss my job.In addition, there were too many u. A bad idea, poorly executed This book is designed for someone who only wants to learn a little bit of Japanese for a trip, but is not serious about starting the language. But even for that purpose it is poorly done, because the Dummies format, with its series of semi-random lists and tips that are not organized into an overall system, is just not suited to language instruction. Overall this book does not develop thos. L.O said Very good, just some minor drawbacks. The only drawback is you have to go to the publisher's website to download the audio portion when you have the digital book and not the physical book that comes with a CD for your computer. And the download only downloads in the correct format if you are NOT using a mobile device while downloading it.
