This book progresses at a good pace, explains things well, and has some nice tunes.I have found it useful developing my jazz abilities having started to learn trumpet from a classical/concert band perspective.My one quibble is that the CD doesn't have lead in beats. The trumpet just starts playing, so it's hard to play along.
